Mango Education was set up to find out and report on the difficulties and barriers encountered by Chinese students when they study in the UK. The Chief Investigator is ZhiMin Xiao at Oxford University. Mango aims to seek evidence-based solutions for those students, and endeavors to make their studies in the UK more fruitful and their lives outside China much easier.
To achieve the above ambitions, Mango conducts research with and for Chinese students in the UK. We are interested in the following areas: linguistic and cultural issues, pedagogy and learning strategy, information and communication technologies, plus other issues concerning China and Chinese students.
